FAQ

  • Do you offer therapy sessions in English in Munich?

Yes, all my sessions are held in English. Many of my clients are internationals or expats living in Munich who prefer to express themselves in English when it comes to personal and sensitive topics.

You can choose to meet with me in person at my practice in Munich or, if it’s easier, we can work together online. Both formats offer the same safe and supportive space to explore what matters most to you.

  • What types of psychotherapy and coaching do you provide?

I offer individual psychotherapy (HeilprG), couples therapy, and personal development groups. In individual sessions, you have space to reflect on your challenges and goals at your own pace.

In couples sessions, the focus is on understanding each other better, improving communication, and creating healthier patterns together.

In group settings, you benefit not only from guidance but also from the shared experiences of others, which can be incredibly powerful.

My approach blends cognitive-behavioural therapy, schema therapy, and coaching techniques — always tailored to your unique situation.

  • Can I book online sessions if I don’t live in Munich?

Yes, absolutely. Online sessions are a good option if you travel often, live outside Munich, or simply feel more comfortable meeting from your own home.

Many clients appreciate the flexibility of online therapy, and research shows that it can be just as effective as meeting in person. All you need is a quiet space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera.

  • How long does a therapy session last, and what are the fees?

An individual session usually lasts between 50 and 60 minutes, with a fee of €125.

Couples sessions are longer — 90 minutes — and the fee is €200. This gives both partners enough time to be heard and to work through issues in depth.

For group sessions, the format and fees vary depending on the program, and details are shared in advance. F

ees are paid privately (self-funded) and are not covered by statutory health insurance.

  • What issues can therapy help with?

Therapy can support you in many areas of life. Some clients come because they are struggling with stress, anxiety, or low mood.

Others want to work on relationship challenges, recurring conflicts, or patterns of self-doubt and low self-esteem.

Therapy can also help if you want to develop more emotional balance, greater resilience, or clarity about your life choices. Together, we explore what’s happening for you right now, what may be underneath it, and what practical steps can move you forward.

  • How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

This is such an important question. The best way to find out is to have an initial session. It gives you a chance to share what’s going on for you, ask any questions, and get a sense of how I work. It’s just as important that you feel comfortable with me as it is that I understand your situation.

If you feel safe, understood, and supported, that’s usually a good sign we can work well together. And if not, that’s also valuable — sometimes it takes meeting one or two therapists to find the right fit.
